Matt is a debt recovery manager with a demonstrated history of working in the legal industry with over 15 years experience of Legal Recoveries. Before joining Chadwick Lawrence in 2018, Matt successfully managed a high-profile debt recovery department for a firm of Solicitors. Matt now leads the debt recovery within Chadwick Lawrence, through its specialist department, Acclaim Credit Management & Recovery.
Matt’s strengths lie within County Court and High Court money claims, Enforcement, and Insolvency proceedings. He is ambitious and strives for success and is renowned for keeping calm under pressure.
Outside of his role in law, Matt sits on a Governing committee for a local Primary School where he is the designated SEND Governor for the School, championing the issue of special educational needs and disability within the work of the Governing board as well as overseeing the school’s arrangements and provisions for meeting special educational needs.
Matt also sits on a local College Governing committee dealing with further and higher education complaints handling.
Matt also volunteers at his local Sea Cadet unit as a sergeant in the Royal Marines detachment, where he supports local young people (cadets), teaching various activities from water sport to adventure training and exercises and skills that are undertaken by Royal Marines, helping the cadets flourish into confident and capable young adults.
