Ellie is a Solicitor at Chadwick Lawrence, currently specialising in Wills, Powers of Attorney and Probate. Ellie was delighted to join the firm in May 2019 as a Paralegal; having already gained prior experience working in Private Client. Ellie started her Training Contract with the firm in April 2020 and qualified as a Solicitor in October 2021. From January 2021, Ellie is assisting in the Family Department to broaden her experience in other aspects of legal practice.
Ellie first discovered her keen interest in Private Client law whilst studying at the University of Huddersfield, where she gained a first-class honours degree and was awarded with an accolade for achieving the highest marks in Land Law.
Ellie’s time at the University of Huddersfield was followed by achieving a distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, where she also achieved a distinction in her master’s degree whilst working at a local law firm full time.
Ellie is a student member of ‘Solicitors for the Elderly’, an institution which supports those that are older and vulnerable. This institution also provides training and Ellie enjoys expanding on her knowledge through their materials. Ellie is also a committee member of the Huddersfield and Dewsbury Law Society. To relax and unwind, Ellie enjoys supporting Huddersfield town as a season ticket holder.
